There is a process that works to memorize the Quran online same as face-to-face learning but online you need to be very punctual and goal-oriented to cover daily tasks.
1- New Memorization (Lesson/Sabaq)
This is the portion few lines 7-9 of new memorization you will recite again and again and memorize to make it mistakes less. Then you will recite it to the teacher by heart to make sure you know it by heart. Gradually you will be able to increase these few lines to more according to the capacity of your memory. You have to recite the new proposed portion for memorization to the teacher so that there are no Tajweed and other mistakes of Harakat may present while reading. 2- Revision of Newly Memorized Portion (Sabaqi)
This is what you have memorized recently and it will be about half Juz or fe pages. It includes new lessons and its adjacent lessons up to 5-7 pages. Revision of this portion and recitation to your teacher in the class is necessary every day so that the memorized portion remains fixed.
3- Revision of Old Memorized Portion (Manzi)
Manzil consists of the portion other than the lesson and the newly memorized portion. Once you have memorized more than half of Juz, the leftover is revised every day, made a fix and then it is recited to the teacher every day. Suppose you have memorized two Juz, other than your new lesson and recently memorized portion (Sabaqi) will be about one and a half Juz. You will divide it into three or more equal divisions and then will be recited daily to the teacher so that the old memorized portions remain fixed. One of its parts is recited to the teacher after the new lesson and Sabaqi every day.
